How to Do the Activity

  1. Prepare a large flower center and petal shapes.
  2. Invite each child to decorate one or more petals.
  3. Let the pieces dry if using paint.
  4. Arrange the petals around the flower center.
  5. Glue everything onto a large backing paper.
  6. Display the flower as a classroom collaboration.

Teacher Tip: Write each child's name lightly on the back of their petal before assembling the collage.
